Solas Care & Support Services is a Tallaght-based social-care agency created to help people live with greater independence, safety and connection. We provide practical assistance at home and in the community across Dublin 24 and surrounding areas.
Why Solas was established
People and families often need dependable support that fits real life rather than a fixed routine. Solas was formed to offer a more personal service, with clear communication and attention to what matters to each individual.
The organisation begins with a focused local service and plans to grow responsibly into a wider team. Expansion will be guided by demand, staff competence and the ability to maintain consistent standards.

Our approach
Every arrangement begins with a conversation about the person, not a list of tasks. We consider routines, strengths, communication, health information shared for the service, personal risks and desired outcomes.
The resulting plan defines what support will be provided, when it will happen and what remains outside the service. This creates clarity for the individual, family, representatives and support worker.

Solas aims to align its work with relevant HIQA principles for human rights, safety, responsiveness and accountability. Disability and community services also draw from the HSE New Directions emphasis on individualised outcomes, choice and active participation.
